Kit Ferry & Dale Elsmore have been friends for many years and have worked together in several  mediums including ceramics, porcelain, oils, water colour etc.   So their combined knowledge of techniques, products, firing and combinations of the above led them to glass and to work fulltime as a team since 2001.

From multi-coloured patchwork platters and hand painted designs on Bullseye Glass they are now concentrating and stretching their skills into the exciting world of glass art in the form of intricate and original pictures and jewellery.

Using glass as the basis for their designs, the pictures, after lengthy planning and design work, come to life with hand cut and placed elements in a myriad of colours.    The process is labour intensive and takes considerable time as they work with glass paints, powders, rods, frit, stringers etc all of which must be compatible to achieve a successful result.   The glass pictures are then fired and fused and a complimentary mount is chosen to set off the completed work.

Kit and Dale can be found most days working at their Cherrybrook NSW Studio where they continue to develop their passion and association with glass and are always aiming for new horizons.
